Post Production Audience Feedback
One way we received audience feedback was to use two focus groups, one using a group aged 16-17 and another using 17-18. We found the focus group particularly informative because we got people's true opinions. This allowed us to review of video and tweak the editing. Below are the two videos of the focus groups and a fact file picture presenting the key points.
Another type of audience feed back we received was through social media. This allowed us real time rapid response's on our video and reassured us of it's quality after we had published it.
The final piece of post production audience feedback we used was looking at similar existing musics videos. For this we used the Wanted's - I found you. From looking at reviews and views of the video it reinforced our confidence in our own as they both shared similar themes and the Wanted's received very high praise.

Ancillary Task - DigiPak
As I was allocated the task of editing the film I decided that I should also undertake the task of doing the digipak due to the fact that I could use any screen shots from the film and I have the most in depth knowledge of the program Photoshop. This is our initial design for our digipak CD case, taking the traditional 6 panel CD case with three CD slots for the actual Album CD and for two other added bonus CD's due to the fact that the digipak is more frequently used for special edition CD's in todays industry.
Due to the constant influences of England, having an english artist, english flag in the performance scenes of our film etc, i decided to make the back and front cover of the CD case to do with London. Both pictures were my own personal photography that i edited myself. Simplistic editing was key for this, rock and roll is a very simple sound, no fakery just a man and his guitar. On the back cover I added the barcode to make it look as realistic as possible, and I also added our QR code on the back giving the people who buy the special edition album the chance to get some more bonuses from buying it, scanning it would give you a freebie of sort, either a free album mobile phone background or a discount of sorts. I also added in the small text including our media companies name and saying that the album was produced by Astral Media.
Moving onto the lyric book panel, firstly again I used my own photography for all of the pictures, i wanted to keep the theme of the deep dark colours throughout the whole case, due to his mindset, I wanted it to represent the lyrics, that he's quite a dark and deep lyrics writer, one of the main reasons why the lyric book is consistently black. Also I wanted it to be quite minimalistic, as Dave (my front man in the film) and Miles Kane himself are both smokers i thought i would use that picture, and the added fact that it's a very rock and roll thing to do, smoke. With the 3 CD spaces i wanted to make them more video orientated, taking some screen shots, giving little hints to the buyer of what the album is like and what the video is like. I wanted the most colourful one in the middle and have the case like a framing technique, having the main reason for buying the album being in the middle, surrounded by the added extras. I think adding in the extra DVD's was a good idea because it's a special edition Album I feel like the audience should get a little more for the money they would be paying for the album.
Digipaks
Digipaks typically consist of a gatefold (book-style) paperboard or card stock outer binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside. Digipak-style packaging is often used for CD singles or special editions of CD albums. Digipaks are the album artwork for the artist. They provided the visual connection between the artist and the music. They can do this via multiple means for example providing a picture of the artist (as above) or providing a picture which complements the music such as a open meadow for a chill out and relax album. Within the digipak there is also information about the artist, a track list and sometimes even quotes. The digipak also helps sell the album as a good one will intrigue people to come look and pick up the album. The digipak conventionally fits in with the current theme of the artist and will link in with adverts for the artist and often their live performances. However due to the increasing use of digital downloads the demand for digipaks is falling. This is because digital downloads only show the front of a album which leave the rest redundant.
The most conventional digipak is a simple 4 panel one which is pretty much like a book. However as the rise of digital downloads has progressed the physical copy of a album has become more of a collectors piece. This has led to more flamboyant and complicated digipaks. So to keep with the current tradition we will be using the above template which is a 6 panel digipak. It is assembled by folding along the centre spine so it is 3 panels. Then folding both the outer panel to the centre. This gives a kinda double book effect. It also gives the collectors a incentive to buy it as its not a standard 4 panel one.

Magazine Advert
This is our final magazine advert. Due to the research that we did with the Kings Of Leon advert I used that idea of keeping all of the text different sizes, keeping little text on there so people will be more inclined to read the information, Keeping the same kind of colouring across the board except the OUT NOW text which needs to stand out more to inform people that the album is now available to download and purchase. I kept the text the same throughout the whole advert due to the fact that all of the information is just as vital as the rest of the advert so changing the text for some things may draw attention to a less important section of the advert, that is why i used colour instead. Making all of the text different sizes was a different technique because all of the larger text is more important, then the sizes decrease in relation to importance.
The picture in the background was contemplated several times, I was thinking about using the album cover as the advert instead, but i thought this picture stood out more in a more subtle way, and it seems more realistic to fit with the genre of the song and album. I inverted the original picture to make it more adherent to the colour scheme of the album and to make it a more subtle image, i also added in the smoke in photoshop to make it look a bit more 'rock and roll' and make the image more appealing than just a guitar. I added in the iTunes logo to make it more authentic to the download side, along side the 'available for download now' text. Also added for authenticity was the quote and stars rating from 'Kerrang' a music channel. I thought this with the rest of the bottom section brought the whole advert together making it look rather professional and still in keeping with the ideas from the actual CD case.

We would want this kind of magazine advert to be featured in magazines like 'NME' and 'Kerrang' and other such rock/indie magazines because that is the same genre as Miles Kane so the advert would make sense here, unlike a magazine such as 'Heat' where it doesn't make any sense being in this kind of 'gossip' magazine due to the nature of the song/advert being music and rock.

Reshooting
As we decided to change our song and idea
for our music video, we had to discard any footage we had previous shot as it
would not have fitted the narrative of the new idea, for example, the day of shooting at southend where we had orginally planned to film the majority of our video. Also, we felt that much
of the previous footage was not at a high enough standard for our project
therefore we approached reshooting with a more positive attitude so that we
were able to progress with our music video.
